That's crazy...

The overpricing of Amiga games is really getting out of hand.

I don't think it is crazy. Games are worth whatever people are willing to pay for them.

Unfortunately it does make life difficult.

That, and the ****ing traders. These are people who do not care about the games, just buy bulk auctions in order to re-list as individual items.

Kinda kills the aim of eBay IMO - no middle man? I wish!

Anyone looked at Atari ST auctions? Games are incredibly cheap compared to Amiga games, even original Infocom titles!

Take a look at the biddings. Fake bidders to get real ones thinking it is something of value....

Why though? What's so special about Moonstone? Is it supposed to be rare or something?

I'll keep my eye out for this at car boot sales.

It doesn't even work with unregistered WHDLoad. I don't see why this game is so important.

I think it's the combination of the game being reasonably uncommon and it being a very fondly remembered classic. It's like The Shawshank Redemption - its classic status has risen considerably over the years.

It's not an Amiga game Drake.
It's a movie set in a prison starring Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins.

And it's a fantastic movie everyone should watch. Top notch stuff.

The Shawshank Redemption was indicated for a Oscar of better movie together with Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction. If I remember correctly, it got the Oscar for best adapted script.

It was written and directed by Frank Darabont (Same writer/director of The Green Mile) based in a story by Stephen King.

This highly collectable game is considered to be something of a cult classic among Amiga gamers. It was released in 1991 and banned in Germany due to the blood and gore content.
