Im not saying its problem free, I had a complete system crash, Just last week. I turned on to random BSOD, which was caused by a corrupt NTFS.sys file. Restored it and all working fine again, .
Well, as we all know - nothing's perfect

But it's so cool to use this new OS and see it grow to be the best with every single patch
Plus, finally a x64 OS that has no (on my setup ) "unknown hardware" problems

Aye, 64bit is way to go. I havent come across any real major incompatability problems as yet.

Well, if you don't care about security through limited privileges and Integrity Levels, don't care about the powerful feature to recover system status after a problem, and recover deleted files you're welcome to disable UAC, shadow copy and restore points...
Vista is way better than XP, you don't have to make it run "like XP".
But all this discussion is off-topic here...

There is much more than just a Yes/No nagging requester behind...

lol, if you want your HDD, constantly running and backing up your whole HDD, then carry on. Im also quite aware of how the stuff works, hence I dumped or disabled it. Hence I made a recovery disc (using acronis) after making a perfect setup, eliminates the need for all the junk thats installed to restore.
