GBA Game Programming Project
hope its ok to post this here... its not directly amiga relevant, but here goes....
i'm working on a game development project on the gameboy advance as my final year degree project, and have set up a website to discuss my progress.. if anyone is interested then they can visit http://zap.to/gbaproject for more info! cheers dudes! by the way, there is a semi-complete version of Space Invaders there for download which I have just coded and compiled... well worth checking out! |

thanks! its even better on a real gba, trust me hehe
just wait till my project game is finished... can't reveal too much yet, but think of a cross between Alien Breed and Metal Gear Solid and you're almost there :P |

BAAAH! I had this same idea, to do an Alien Breed/Metal Gear Solid once!
It´s a great kind of game to be done on the GBA. Are you trying to get a publisher for it ? |

not yet, its just a project for uni and something to show future employers.
i'm currently working on a detailed design document for it, including all the storyline and character details as well as all going in-depth into the gameplay mechanics. i will copyright the idea, but it will not necessarily be published! |

heh with a bit of luck!
nah, i will release the final rom as PD freeware so anyone can play it for free (that is, unless someone gets interested before i finish it!) i'll put demos of my progress on the site as i go along so you can test the gameplay mechanics for me. |
