Test Drive - faster than hell?

I've seen a video on youtube where a C64 with SuperCPU runs this game and the framerate is simply outstanding. I started to think if on Amiga with 020+ CPU can be done the same thing? it would be an awesome game from that point, as the gfx is more than ideal, playability is correct, only the screen refresh doesn't meet an acceptable level. (as it wasn't really appreciable way back.)
So I wonder if it can be speed up somehow? I believe it uses too strictly blitter-only routines instead of CPU ones, and as it seemed to be ok at it's release time, since decades (huh) it just not enough. We have no good racing games in this style...

Any idea, other thoughts?

For at least a bit smoother gameplay the NTSC tooltype via WHDLoad would help. Enabled Caches probably too.

Yeah, but in that case you just speed up the whole game, but not rendering more frames, so it's not the result I'm thinking on.

According to the readme fastram and caches should also help. Haven't compared it though disk vs WHDLoad.
