Any news from StingRay & Akira?

I know there are a lot of people around here in EAB, but it seems to me that these two people are silent since a long time...
So does anyone have any news from StingRay & Akira ?

Well, StingRay is still offering slaves (installs) to the WHDload community -games & demos- on a regular basis,
that's for sure. News from prowler would be rejoicing, additionally.

If you have a look at his profile, last StingRay's login was mid August.
Seems strange to me such silence from him ... ?
If anybody has direct contact/news, feel free to post.

Same for Akira, but he is silent for longer now...

Personally, that's Codetapper I would email if I was involved in a similar questioning... Him and StingRay get along well together presumably.
I mean they are known to work for similar closed scene teams and such, so yeah, my 2 cent.

Prowler has been going through an extremely difficult time over the past year or so... I won't go into details as it's not my place to do so.

...but even us GMod's haven't heard anything from him in say 7 or more months now

Usually he'll let's us know in the "private" GMod section that he's ok / what the situation currently is.

Re: Akira... totally disappeared but I think he was on the "Metro Siege" stream.

Akira (and many other EAB members) would disappear from time to time, depending on what they are currently doing/playing or where are they at the moment (some folks live in 2 countries).

Some others that I did not see in a while here - Fissuras, unknown_k, keropi and MIck_AKA.

Keropi left because of the OT nonsense and other stupidity in on-topic threads iirc. He posts sometimes in Krikzz everdrives forum.

I am new and fresh on forum, so I don't know the StingRay, but I "knew" Akira, and somewhat, I miss him.
Sure, he was constantly too bitter on any amiga fanboy, but had funny responses on that, and that was interesting to read. He helped me a lot on my re-learning on DPaint, with few tips, and all in all, I liked the guy, even I didn't agreed to everything he said.

Yeah, I would definitely like him back.

And with board 'aging' we should probably have connections with some other medium 'just in case'.

I keep reading off-topic session more or less once each two months... can't afford to miss DamienD's updates...

I am alive and well, playing with my old computers and some FPGA monsters too, mostly MSX stuff. Glad to see we are still all the same lunatics
