Hi Jens. In reference to the C64 reloaded board... I assume that connector CN4a (next to CN4, the IEC connector) also has the IEC pins. If that is the case, can I get the pinout of that connector? Is that a .100" pitch? I would like to make my uDrive compatible with your board. Thanks!

Thanks for updating the Wiki page with info about CN4b! However, there is no info on the connector spacing/pitch. Is this is a .1" or 2mm pitch?

My amiga is the most demanding A1200 desktop ever as I commented (BPPC/BVision/ACard/Idefix/Dvd/4wayAdaptor/Delfina/Subway/5 fans). Last edited by Retrofan; 11 May 2015 at 23:28. |

Jens isn't saying that there's anything bad with ZIF sockets —after all, one of the options is to have them installed.
What he's saying is that non ZIF sockets is not an option, due to the issues he listed above. |

Ah - got it. That makes sense. This board is already amazingly inexpensive - the ZIF sockets just seem like extra awesome to me

Kickstarter has a mass reach that the specialised communities definitely don't have - he could be selling a million or so of C64 Reloaded on it |

It's probably better to attempt to sell a million of something that you can buy parts for wholesale. :-)

Hi Jim,
write an email to Jens; he seems to be quite busy with the C64reloaded. I like your products very much btw. and will surely include your new device into my next order! Best regards, Marcus |
