Anywhere you can get ripped game samples?

Hi

Looking for ripped amiga game samples. Is there an archive anywhere?

Especially like Alien Breed, Utopia, Etc?

I haven't heard about any samples archive but from some games it is very easy to rip samples on your own. Send me PM with the names of the games that samples you are looking for and I see what I could do.

Do you mean game music? Stone Oakvalley has loads

Samples generally refers to the actual sounds played in the game.

Arnie - Not really music mate. Music could imply a stereo mix down wav of the 4 or 8 tracks available. Im after the sounds that make up the tracks individually. Thanks for the link mate

if you want the sounds that make up the music tracks individually, you can download a lot of the original MOD files from the Amiga Music Preservation site:
http://amp.dascene.net/

Then you could load the mods into a tracker and save the samples individually from there.

As for sound effect samples I don't know of any online archive but there are plenty of utilities available for ripping them yourself.

Ice had a look but it doesn't seem the voice samples from Alien breed are included. These are of particular interest.

Hitchiker has completely disassembled Alien Breed Special Edition and ripped out all the individual sound samples already, so at least those ones are easily available!
