lha template to freeze file into a specific dir?

Is there a way to instruct lha to archive a file into a specific path of the archive?
I mean something like:
lha a archive.lha thisfile intothispath

E.g.
freeze thisfile -> archive.lha's subdir A/thisfile....

I'm using ArcDir.dopus5 ( http://aminet.net/package/util/dopus/ArcDir ) for DOpus5. I only found one line starting with "LHA a" that should do the trick. You may have a look.

Unfortunately LhA doesn't have that kind of option. What I did with RNOArchive, and what DOpus' ArcDir also does, is to create a temporary directory structure somewhere and archive that recursively.

the most simple solution i can think of is:

create same path on ramdisk or virtual disk. copy or move the file over.
e.g.
file in question is "mylast.log" on drive "dh0:"
target location is "backup/logs/" in "mybackup.lha" on drive "dh1:"

Code:

makedir ram:backup
makedir ram:backup/logs
copy dh0:mylast.log ram:backup/logs/
lha -x a dh1:mybackup.lha ram:backup/logs/mylast.log

p.s. tested and confirmed
