Which Demos Should I Get?

I've only recently been transferring ADFs, and I thought it would be cool to grab a few demos and check them out. Where should I start? =)

Awesome, thanks! Also, will these run on just about any Amiga, or what?

A few are AGA only and others need 1 MB Ram. The AGA ones will only run on an A1200 or A4000 and for the others you need to try it. Hopefully someone can tell which demos will work on an A1000

I particularly don't remember a single demo coming out right after the A1000, but I dare suggesting the Wild Copper Demo could run just fine.

Good news! Demos such as 9 Fingers and State of the Art run perfectly on my Amiga 1000. Crazy, huh? I never would've guessed. The only flaw appears to be due to my NTSC monitor.

Desert dream definitely needs 1Mb to run, preferably 512k chip+512kb chip/fast

Try 3D Demo by Anarchy. It should work with 512 KB too

Wouldn't care, I even read that. That's probably where I got the idea from. I am suffering from last nights major booze up you know, my brain is taking some time to register everything I read (like 1hr or so )

Hehe, I see
Another one that should work with 512 KB is D.A.N.E by Kefrens.

By the way, I'm pretty sure I do have 512k chip + 512k fast. When I say I have 512k, I refer to Chip RAM, because that's usually what games complain about.

Well, then try the ones mentioned by musashi5150 Oh and most of the others from the thread in the second post. For most of the non-AGA stuff (demos/games) that config should be fine.
