@JudasEZT
I see you called the game Ego Wings, that gives me some ideas: if you plan to do simultaneous two players you could do some kind of competitive mode where you get more points if you 'friendly fire' your opponent or steal power ups or kill more enemies than him, very EGOistic and can deal to interesting dynamics ^^ |

Actually i have another unreleased game that i've never mentioned here before for some reason. It is the last big-ish thing i made in AMOS before i moved on to Asm. Don't get too excited, it is relatively primitive, although purposefully so - i decided to make a game in the style of some fictional 8 bit computer, with imposed limitations on graphics and sound, but i think it is quite fun to play.
I will see if i can find it at the weekend, maybe i will post the full source code too. I don't know if it can be called a Work in Progress anymore since i will definitely make no further progress on it! But i can't say if it is finished or not since i never had a full plan to begin with, so i will present its 7 playable levels (if i remember correctly) as they are. |

I saw your Mrs beanbag youtube video played by Hippoonios I think, at least i found it while watchign hes videos. Have to say i was pretty impressed how good that game looked like. I was expecting something amateurish, but that seemed like commercial quality basically. Not of course in same line with big budget A games of course, but pretty much in par with normal small mobile products nowadays or retro style game products.
I had read about it from Amiga Future plus had seen some comments of yours where you were talking about graphics being bit lousy and graphics style picked only because it was only thing you could draw, and hence I was thinking its nothing special that game. But when i saw that youtube video about it. Wow! that looked like a real good game. I even stopped watching that video isntantly in hopes of playing it one day when i get on to fixing my A1200 (probably just needs to replace PSU). Interesting to see what that (i suppose) earlier game looks and plays like. |

perhaps I confused that comment with some other game then. I just remember that someone said about his game that they are all box shaped because thats all he could draw. Maybe in Amiga Future interview or something. But maybe I have confused this one with some other game and your game got the blame all this time.

i have said that the graphics are stylised and cartoonish on purpose, after some people criticised it. i know i'm not the greatest artist but i think some people missed the point!

Well i found my files on the copy of my Amiga's hard drive on my PC, now to get FS-UAE to work so i can compile it!
SORTED Download it here including full AMOS Source! http:///www.glastonbridge.co.uk/mrbe...ads/PuzCat.zip I believe it runs at full speed on a stock A1200, i don't think i've tried it on an A500 but do let me know... Last edited by Mrs Beanbag; 28 May 2015 at 01:09. |
