just opened a 600 ??

just opened my a600 too put a cf card in and noticed there was no top rf shield. All the tabs are positioned straight up and dont seem to have been bent.
The warranty sticker was intact so not been opened before.

So the question is have i got a "the fabled a600 with no top rf shield limited edition worth millions" or was this normal ie a commodore cost-cutting measure.

Nope. I have a 1.5 and it came with the darn top shield.

I have a top shield for A600, I'm keeping it in a climate controlled box with no humidity for 100 years and then it'll be worth millions! Muhahahahhaaha

But, I had about 7 A600's now and only one had that shield...

My Amiga 600 r1 (A300 June Bug) had the shield, and the floppy drive fit like a glove on top of it... It's not like I use the shield anymore though!
