If you could buy any used Amiga hardware what would it be?
I would have made this a POLL but there is just too much to list.
Lets exclude Cyberstorm PPC/060 with CVision, Blizzard PPC/060 with BVision & Blizzard 2060 with PPC module as I am sure that is almost Amiga owner's top 3. And lets exclude stuff which is still available new today, like Elbox PCI busboards, Indivision scandoubler, MiniMig etc. If we ignore price, look at everything that was commercially available (no prototype or vapourware stuff), what is your most sought after hardware? Full computer, accelerator, sound card... right down to manuals & boxes, anything. If it is a particular version of something (like an A4000D-CR Rev D) be specific. Please try and list the manufacturer's name if you know it. And if there is an interesting tale behind why, tell us. Why?? When the thread is exhausted in a week or so I'll let you know. |

I am unable to give a positive response here because you have excluded the only item on my wishlist - a Blizzard PPC accelerator card for my A1200.
I am a registered owner of Classic AmigaOS 4.0 for PPC Amigas, and getting my hands on one of these would allow me to run it. |

Realy good question -
CDTV PowerCopy Hardware I'd like to play about with one of those ST or IBM/Pc hardware based emulators. Not Amiga but a dirt cheap MacMini. |

Just for Fast RAM or faster CPU? Not all SX expansions are accelerators. Only the SX32 PRO is an accelerator.
Without provenance I doubt it would be worth any more than any other A4000? My A4000D-CR RevD is marked 07/1993 which must be pretty close to the end. Erm, yes it's the last ever A4000! It must be |

All I want are a couple frigging 060 accelerators at a reasonable price ($150 or less). Is that too much to ask for? (that's a rhetorical question... I know it is too much to ask for)
I don't have an interesting tale... just a really really boring one - a tale so mind-numbingly tedious that it makes me want to commit suicide just thinking about it. Oh GOD, how boring. |

Prices are sort of irrelevant in this thread. It's just what would you most want buy, if you had the money.

An A2000 or an A3000 (with hard disk in either) ... always had a hankering for a big box Amiga.
Although for some reason I wouldn't care for an A4000. |

Great topic!
My top 3: 1. CDTV RAM card (64k or 256k, preferably the latter) - pretty much the only piece of kit missing from my CDTV collection 2. SX32 PRO - already have the non-pro version, but I want that 030 3. CD32 FMV module - just to see it running.. |
