Hooooo NOT finished games

There was lot of promising games about two years ago

Like

Enforce: 3d more Quake than doom Demo on aminet

Silencer: Isometrik adventure? hi-res Demo:
http://in.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/gatewaycourt/148/
Looks great! Project still on?

Goal2000: Football Demo can found aminet??

Hard target: Virtual cop clone Vulcan ex-project Screenshot on aminet

Phoenix fighters: Shooting "alive mediasoft" demo on aminet

Or look at this

http://www.amigaflame.co.uk/amigames2.htm

How many of those games will see day light?

I 've many times wondered, there are many abadoned projecks, those developer might release their sourses if they don't have any interest to complete game.

THE point: Hafl ready game could be quite easy to finish?

Yeah, the four screenshots I looked at look pretty cool. I wonder what the status of this game is (even though I don't have that much juice on my real Amiga...)

Hmm it looks to me a lot like Crusader : no remorse and no regret. The fact that your character was a "silencer" didn't make it less likely. That was a great game.

That's what I thought too...

Then I read, "Its role model was the Crusader from PC platform."

Preview version in the Zone. 16MB of RAM required so I don't know how to load this game.

I love threads such as this one, but I can't help but feel it belongs in the AGTW section.

we should encourage coders games stopped to give their source code like this someone else could finish these games. Even if i know that it's very difficult to continue the work someone else.
Qustion for coders : how much is it difficult to finish the work of others ? is it only possible ???

Someone tried to make Amiga game in style of Crusader - No Remorse

I think game was too big and complicated for small, not well-known team.

It depends on remarks in the code. If the original coder put a lot of REMs for good orientation, it is possible. But if the code is complicated without any clue, it is SO annoying that everybody gives up soon.
