Gotek (FlashFloppy) with 2.42' 128x64 OLED screen

Hi,

Was able to connect the Gotek (with FlashFloppy firmware) to an 2.42 inch 128x64 OLED screen.

Those with a keen eye, will have noticed that the screen board I got off eBay has got some mislabelling on it.

To get the screen working I changed it from its default SPI setup to IIC/I2C by:

1. Moving the 4.7K resistor from R17 to R15 (mislabelled as R18)
2. Bridged R13
3. Bridged R18

This in itself did not get the screen to work until I connected the RES pin to 3.3V (I should probably use a pull-up resistor).

At 2.42 inches, it is obviously quite large compared to the normal 0.96' OLED, but it makes reading the text so much easier. Just need to figure out where/how to mount it, along with the RGB Rotary Encoder, on the Amiga 1200 case.

Unless you had a 3D print made to house it on top of the grill like the smaller versions of the same?

Well done with the mod

Yeah, I've been looking at some of the cases on Thingiverse and wondering how I can customise them - just need to figure out how to get in to 3D design and printing - https://www.tinkercad.com/ looks like a good place to start.

I'm also keen on kipper2k's internal gotek (mother/baby) design (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=92881) and whether I can design my own case based on that.
