@Frode - hey buddy, don't bother with that - I downloaded the new Arcade.app v2.9.10 and my issue is fixed! Many thanks. :

No worries, thank you for the time you already spent on fs-uae

Windows mouse isn't working with FS-UAE Launcher 2.9.10dev portable, Windows 10.

edit: Ah, HID-conform mouse option is working though.

Hmm, yes, I did mess with the mouse support related to multiple mice. So the raw mouse devices (the "HID-compatible devices") should indeed work. But the regular mouse device works fine on my Windows 10 computer as well .. hmm... anyone else seeing this?

EDIT: Actually, I confused myself with the version number. Support for multiple mice is fixed for 2.9.11dev. Could be that your problem goes away completely then.

A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.9.11dev:
  • Linux: Automatically uses Feral GameMode daemon if available.
  • New option game_mode = 0 to disable above mentioned feature.
  • Linux: Warn if running with a CPU governor other than performance.
  • New option governor_warning = to to disable above mentioned warning.
  • Fixed support for multiple mice also on Windows.
Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.9.11dev:
  • Plugins can provide files for offline use (WHDLoad, JST, SKick, etc).
  • Use newer version of uae-configuration, OSEmu.400.
  • Added support for .xz-compressed files.
  • GUI options to toggle game mode / governor warning on Linux.

FS-UAE Launcher 2.9.11dev WHD Launch Issue

After updating to 2.9.11dev, I am receiving the following error when attempting to launch a game:

Code:
Task: Amiga Launch Task
Error: FileNotFoundError
Message: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified: 'E:/Emulator/Commodore_FSUAE\\Cache\\Downloads\\ebf\\ebf3a1f53be665bb39a636007fda3b3e640998ba.partial.8157e93e-3350-460e-b485-a9c97dc0435c' -> 'E:/Emulator/Commodore_FSUAE\\Cache\\Downloads\\ebf\\ebf3a1f53be665bb39a636007fda3b3e640998ba'
System: Windows 10 x64

2.9.10dev works correctly.

I am using Portable.ini to point to my FS_UAE install directory.

Is this an internal file path formatting issue?

It also shows me this error message

I made a blunder with the last version (ref. the errors posted). There will be a bugfix release soon. In the meantime, installing the new data file plugins will actually work around the problem: https://fs-uae.net/download#plugins (FS-UAE-Plugins_2019-05-29.zip).

I can't see any plugins to download? The plugins link on the side does nothing either? I am having the same issues as the others.

Maybe a cache issue (tried reloading the browser?). Anyway, direct link to download: https://fs-uae.net/files/plugins/FS-...2019-05-29.zip

Great!

By the the way, will the version number brought to the same as WinUAE when finished?

Actually, you can do it now by checking out the current master branch. WinUAE 4.2.1 is already integrated there and most stuff works fine by now.

I have successfully tested a lot of new WinUAE stuff with OS4.1FE. There are some small quirks and problems left, however.

Which is the reason why it isn't yet in the current development branch. In case you are interested, you find it the thread regarding latest WinUAE integration here:

Ok, I think this will be the reason why I only have 256 colors and Picasso IV in OS 4.1. But all in all it seems to work without problems.
