Found -> Ork Attack (was:Coverdisk game: Castle/Orcs)
This was a free game, included on one of the gaming amiga magazines (one amiga or amiga power I *think*).
I cant remember the year exactly, but I'd say it was probably 1994. It was quite a simple 2D game, where you were a knight at the the top of a castle wall, throwing rocks down on the 'orcs' (or whatever, I cannot think of a better word to describe these green creatures) that were attempting to climb the wall. The rocks would appear randomly at the top of the castle wall where you'd need to pick them up in order to throw them, one at a time. Every time you made a sucessful orc hit, a large splatter of blood was left on the wall, eventually the whole wall would be covered in splatters. There was no scrolling, it was just a single screen with a wall/climbing orcs and the knight at the top. |

Okay, keep in mind this was one of the many The One PD releases and not an EXCLUSIVE thing, maybe other mags released it but I'm not sure.
Ork Attack released in Disk A of The One March 1994 issue. Lack of scanner right now dont let me scan the mag and the disk, sorry. Maybe when I get back my scanner. |
