Primal Rage Revisions

Hi there,

I just tought of it, so i post

* Primal Rage actually exist in 3 revisions on amiga : V1.2, V1.4, v1.6

* For some of those, the revision number is written on the floppy disks.

* Revision v1.2 actually has a mastering error, with half the tracks not written on disk 4.

Are these revisions reflected in the adf names of the disks in the tosec set?

Not sure who's in charge of the tosec sets. But will this information get to them and eventually be fixed in a new tosec set?

the fact is that those revisions are not cracked at all, and as such not present in the Tosec.

Primal Rage v1.6 was cracked by WT in 1996 year. This version has HD install too.

Why? If Wanted Team have cracked 1.6, and 1.2 wasn't mastered properly, then the existing crack at the time of release is 1.4.

Therefore all versions that need to be cracked have been done, or am I missing something here?

Hi there,

I have the original Primal Rage. There is no version on the label of the disks. How to check the version?

try to whdload install it. disk 4 fails because some tracks are missing on one version.

If it does, it's v1.2

v1.4 and 1.6 are ok.
