Hard As Rocks: 1:45.39 (10,539)
Around Town: 1:44.27 (10,427)

Shame the game never evolved from "demo" status.. looks ok!
..though brakes seem to do nothing at all

UP is for turbo, according to the docs you have 5 per race.

I think there is a big problem with this game.
I didn't check the other circuits but with "Hard as Rocks" racetime seem inconsistent.
I had a mediocre run (second to last), time= 1:49:33
Then I did a acceptable run (5th), time= 1:59:37 !!!
If anyone could confirm ...

Ok, maybe I'm wrong.
It's probably the battle with the vehicles who can make that impression.

Let's go:
Beginners Luck: 1:01.19 (6,119)
Circus Circuit: 1:08.02 (6,802)
Hard As Rocks: 1:44.33 (10,433)
Around Town: 1:42.04 (10,204)
TOTAL = 33,558

Rexsu - the cars speed up to catch you if you have a clean run, so the average times get a little quicker. If the cars crash into each other, and you make crashes, sometimes it can slow down the whole field. Once in first place there is no problem. Hats off to your Beginner's Luck score, I honestly cant see how it is possible, but you seem to have done it.

John - I did the same as you on the first track and was 4 seconds slower. Maybe the game clock runs faster on the 040?

What settings are people using coz I'm emulating an A4000 with 3.1. It wouldn't load on A1200. (using the regular ADF from Loki)

I have the same settings as rexsu except for the Kickstart I use KS ROM v3.1 (A1200) rev 40.68 (512k) [391773-01/391774-01] and I also have 8 MB Fast RAM.

So just use 020 with full cycle exact emulation.

@Biscuit: Loki's ADF works perfect for me with this A1200-setup. Maybe you need more RAM? I have 2MB Chip and 8MB Fast RAM.

Seems you're right. I switched the defaults to 68020 and 8mb fast RAM. Boots up fine.

I'm using the same because I had the same A1200 problem. Biscuit are you using FS-UAE?

I'm of the same opinion as Biscuit, the game is fun but not to make the best time.
The start is too important because it's a luck factor that determines it (collision or push).
The worst circuit is circus circuit, always a chaotic start and intersections are favourable to collisions; really frustrating circuit.
In the end I think the one who will be the most lucky will win!

First go at this. It certainly feels unfinished, although it has potential to be pretty good. It's not terrible as it is but it does have some irritations which have been mentioned by others.
