They are not the first and certainly wont be the last to make remixes and not give credits to the original author.

One example comes to mind, is the Amiga demo FullMoon where the famous Jogeir Liljedahl remixed Jochen MadMax Hippel's A Prehistoric Tale intro music with no credits whatso ever!
