WTB accelerator for a3000
Looking to use my A3000 for my main internet browsing machine. Therefore I'm hoping to find a reasonably-priced accelerator and graphics card for it (yeah right).
Thanks in advance. Last edited by roguebeck; 25 October 2007 at 19:26. Reason: title edit |

I'm still hoping someone has an accelerator. I've had a few international offers but with the US dollar being low on the exchange rate I was helpless to purchase them.

What kind of accelerator are you looking for?
The A3000 has a full 030 and FPU in it already... do u really need anything more? |

I did get a CV64 (awesome I might add), and I do need an accelerator because I want to use the amiga for internet browsing.
I'm stuck with PCs at work all day so I'd like to use the Amiga for my home internet relaxation station |

No Java, No flash (which means no YouTube), No Shockwave, No CSS, Limited / No secure access (which means no buying over ebay, banking, logging on to some secure sites), limited Javascript, slower than anything you ever experienced, No fun If you want "a home internet relaxation station" and want to get away from PC's and Windows. Buy a second hand MacMini and a wireless keyboard and mouse? Perhaps even an X-Box-1 with Linux installed, great on a HDTV! Last edited by alexh; 26 October 2007 at 20:01. |

I actually have 2 iMacs already and my browsing is 100% linux (debian flavor), I run AWeb on my linux box (thanks amiga forever) and I've run in on my 3000, and it's cool. I'd never be able to totally replace my PCs for browsing, but I'd sure like to have that Amiga option open and ready!
