amiga-ext-310-cd32-fmv.rom won't be detected by WinUAE

Hello,

yesterday I bought the Amiga Forever 2008 Plus Upgrade as downloadable ISO image from amigaforever.com.

On the burned CD, there is the extended ROM file for CD32 Full Motion Video, but it won't be detected by WinUAE. I tried version 1.5.0b21. I made a new scan Roms, but the ROM won't be detected.

If I load it manually as an extended ROM an try to start with it, WinUAE says couldn't find the ROM.key, although it is in the same directory as the ROM. I tried the "old" ROM.key and the actual from Amiga Forever 2006/2008. No Luck!

Is there someone, who could get this ROM to work?

It is in Cartridge ROMs list. (where would you put CD32 extended ROM if it goes to extended ROMs..)

Note that it is 99% unemulated.

Okay, but also in the list of cartridge roms, there wasn't this ROM. I would like to load it and split it with ROMSplit to build my own most uptodate CD32 ROM and extended ROM.

Is there a tool to decrypt ROMs?

Hmm.. It seems there is something weird with AF2008 version (probably encryption related)

It should still work if manually added to cartridge roms.

Note that CD32 FMV cartridge is an autoconfig board and it maps to 0x200000. ROM also has different header than regular ROMs.

Try contacting Remus/Romsplit author.

EDIT:

It is bug in WinUAE, it tries to use wrong decryption.

When will you release final version 1.5.0?

It's really wonderfull to see nearly all amigas now available in software. I dream a little dream to see something like amithlon with WinUAE included. At present E-UAE isn't as good as WinUAE. So a kind of USB bootable Mini-Windows XP or Vista with preinstalled WinUAE is needed.

My iMac ALU is a great ambient for that classic computing. It's a symbiosis between past and future.
