Flashing sprites in Super Skidmarks

Hi

I've recently puchased Super Skidmarks CD32 from eBay and I've been trying it out on WinUAE 1.4.6. When playing the game in high-resolution mode the high-res sprites seem to flash whenever the sprites are moving on-screen. When the players car is on its own (away from the other sprites) the graphic image seems to be stable. Its only when lots are on screen that the annoying flashing occurs. Is this a known problem?

Yup, sadly it happens on my 1200. It is a shame because the game looks really nice and has quite a distinct and pleasing design, so this glitch is quite an eyesore.

I am not sure we are talking about same problem because this one was emulation issue.. (EDIT: car colors change "randomly", they do not flicker or flash)

Yes, my mistake Toni. Its been a long time, but the issue I had in mind was the flicker/flashing thing.

although come to think of it, what are the limits of the cd32 version? i'd always assumed there was some kind of limitation.... is it not possible to add extra cars etc or something?

I think you're right, there are some limitations - like I think you can only have up to two players but I'm not totally sure on that.
