I think my modules are slightly higher energy consumers but their sleep function is similar to the NRF one so hopefully I can make good use of that.

My brother made these, he's got an internal version for Tac-2 and external ones for other joysticks. http://electronics.chroma.se/wlj.php
They can also be used on a PC via USB.

Does he offer those for sale? Seems interesting, especially internal Tac-2 versions...
