FS-UAE not wanting to start on my Mac

I had version 2.4.1 of FS-UAE on my Mac (2011 MacBook Air, El Capitan 10.11.6) which worked absolutely fine. It suggested I upgrade to the latest version, which I did. Now, whenever I try and start the Launcher, it pops up with a message "FS-UAE cannot start" (or something similar). At first I thought it was the Gatekeeper nonsense, but there was no option to get around it (like right-clicking and selecting Open). Funny thing is, I can run it fine direct from the DMG.

I had wondered if it didn't like the FS-UAE folder in the Documents directory, so I removed it and tried again...still failed to start.

However, for now, I've managed to find an install for 2.4.1 and have re-instated that version. It would be nice to run with the latest version though.

Anyone got any ideas?

Ta muchly,

Gerald.
