help with skidmarks settings

can someone tell me how to get rid of the black lines on the cars ?

I think there's something wrong with your interlace settings, but that's all.

Which Skidmarks version? Did you select hires mode if it was AGA version? (Hires uses Amiga superhires mode)

its whdload super skidmarks 2 cd 32 version slave up to date.Hi res selected

Right, superhires will fix it but unless you use 1280+ wide resolution and double vertical (1280x1024 or similar PC resolution..), you will get scaling artifacts or weird aspect ratio.

Nothing to do with interlace.

What I meant is that in the first screenshot, it looks like it's only half the vertical resolution, and it could be that the cars have more of a checkerboard pattern than just vertical lines. But I could be wrong.

this is 1280x1024 with superhires selected in a full window
