Decent fixed width fonts.
Hello!
As the title suggests, I'm after some decent fixed-width Amiga fonts. I want to change the fonts on some apps but if they have non-fixed-width fonts, they extend too far off the screen if wide characters are used (such as W). If you could post screenshots that'd be GREAT but I understand that could be an arse ![]() |

i don't know where to find them for amiga, but you could also convert them from pc if you find the correct format:

I'd really only like Amiga fonts, if they currently exist. I'm doing a lot of other things and don't have time (or interest) to go converting them

when you'll see the post above, my suggestion is for the font "fiona" but its size is 8, so a little big for icons

Whoever named those archives fixed width needs his head testing, some of them are fixed width, some aren't!

I downloaded those archives from Aminet years ago. The only two I ended up using are Mini8 (nice 8x8 font to replace ugly 2.0+ topaz) and 2001 (for Asteroids).
If you're still looking for a nice readable font (guaranteed to be fixed-width... or your money back! ![]() |

Yeah, I'll definitely take them
![]() Found a few that are useable from those archives, same the choice is so limited when it comes to Amiga fonts. |

OK, they're in the Zone.
In what programs are you trying to change the fonts? They must be pretty old if they can only use fixed-width. |

It's not a program that currently exists.
I'm doing a little programming ![]() Do you have any recommendations for variable width fonts then? I did take a look at some but a lot of them look utter tripe in hires mode. I can use variable width it just means a little more coding is needed. |
