Gabe Newell has been stuck in New Zealand since March and he seems to be loving it. So much so, that he appeared on New Zealand morning television today to announce a free concert to thank the country for its hospitality.

It's still a bit early to be honest. Manufacturing jobs in New Zealand have shut down and laid of a lot of workers. The Aluminium smelting plant in the South Island has shut down as well. I think it's still too early to see how bad this was. It could have been a lot worse. Lots of people are struggling, but I haven't resorted to selling my Amigas.

I hope Half-Life 3 is ok, I heard everyone was annoyed at Blizzard. The only game I play of Blizzard is War Craft2 shareware. I played their single screen flashback type game. That was neat.

Yes, after 3 months of no cases, they are up to 13 and they are in lockdown mode.

My county had 40 new cases yesterday and that was considered low, state had over 1000 new cases. And idiots are working on opening schools mid pandemic?!

Big price to be paid if any country chooses to try to live like nothing ever happened. That's what the stats say at least. More people at hospitals, more deaths, more insecurity, economy again is going down. People don't spend when they are insecure. It's too dumb. Need to solve the problem in it's root, kill the virus somehow, at least minimise it's effect while it's safe to continue normal life. A vaccine i guess, or a cure.

Sorry to hear that. You might as well get lucky and overcome the symptoms quickly though. My niece (the daughter of my cousin) got Kawasaki disease, sure sucks (covid-19 of youngsters of sorts). Btw, I don't understand why Brits had to leave their resort in France in haste. Would it be such an infamy to get quarantined for just a few days, when holiday time is up for everyone ? What about enjoying French wine, beautiful dancers swaying of the hips.
