CrossDOS works on a standard Amiga 500. That means 68000, right?
The only other requirements are 256K of RAM and AmigaDOS v1.2 or higher. However, CrossDOS only supports Atari ST-formatted disks v2.0 or higher. BTW, I don't blame anyone for trying out Atari ST emulators on the Amiga. God knows there aren't many of them. |

And yes, I am aware of several different disk sizes. Again, I'll have to refresh my memory on this, and come back with more to tell you. |

In theory Chamaleon/SimCity ST could be WHDload installed but how much patching it would need to run above a 68000 I dont know? Last edited by Retro1234; 08 January 2009 at 11:30. |

Hi Boo Boo,
You should download MSA Converter 2.1 for Win32 and the English documentation from here: http://msaconverter.free.fr/index-uk.html Imgbuild.exe from here: http://users.skynet.be/sky39147/ ST Disk Image Reader v0.3 for DOS reads Atari ST disks and creates .ST images. Also blank images can be created, for example: imgbuild /blank /side 1 /track 80 /sector 9 /name 360k.st imgbuild /blank /side 2 /track 80 /sector 9 /name 720k.st imgbuild /blank /side 2 /track 80 /sector 18 /name 1440k.st stdiskv1.zip and stdiskv2.zip from here: http://www.8hz.com/stdisk/page.html ST Disk Image Writing utility versions 1.0c and 2.0b for DOS. These utilities write Atari ST disks from disk images. Included in each case is a set of disk images of various sizes. Also, I have uploaded the following files to the Zone for you which are no longer under development: msacomp1.11.zip and msacomp1.12.zip MSA (un)compressor versions 1.11 and 1.12 for DOS. msatost1.3.zip - MSA-to-ST version 1.3 for DOS. Converts .MSA files to .ST disk images suitable for emulators. All these utilities, apart from being useful for Atari ST emulation, also contain much information about Atari ST disk image formats. Have fun. prowler Last edited by prowler; 08 January 2009 at 22:53. Reason: imgbuild command line syntax for 1440k blank image. |
