Sorry no help here, but just chiming in to ask why you want to do this?

I'm not having a go at you...I really want to know.
Is there something at boot that you cannot do becuase of it, or?

PZ.

I just don't like another delay in addition to the the cgx boot screen, the 3.9 double reset, blah blah, just let me boot into workbench please.

Fair call

On the A1200 it shows, but there doesn't really seem to be any delay caused, it's just there. How bad is it on the A4000?

EDIT:

Have you considered trying out "3.9" ROMS?

Its up for a couple of seconds. The thing is with an A4000 with various hardware expansions, the internal IDE, cyberpatcher, CGX boot screen (which I've disabled), preparemul, it does take longer to boot than a similarly CPU A1200. The Indivision screen is just another pointless thing that pops that I just wished it didn't.

I've heard of people burning these-I think- but I have no capacity to do this, unless they're being sold somewhere?
