Missing US Gold Parts...

Because I need some Space in my Collection I plan to sell some US Gold Boxes.


Before that I scan some missing parts for HOL and put it on the Server.

Missing in HOL

CapCom Platinum Box Spanish Version from ERBE
CapCom Platinum Advertise for the UK BOX

The UK Platinum has Strider, Ghouls & Ghosts, Black Tiger, Forgotten Worlds in it
The Spanish has also LED Storm as plus in it.

The Game Rotox has also a special over 20 Pages Storybook in the Box which is totally not notified in HOL. I try to scan it and send it to HOL later.

By the way...
The Entry of California Games must be changed.
The scanned Box has three Languages on the Box and inside Manuals.
So it is the EU Release not only UK Release. I have the same Box just with german Manual.

Interesting. We had a note that only the 8-bit versions had LED Storm as an additional title.

Ah, maybe my Box is from 8-Bit ? But there is no System Label on the Box.

I bought this Box used incomplete with just 2 Games in it.
Maybe the seller put the Amiga Disks in the 8 Bit Box?
So you can‘t use this Scan?

It's very difficult to tell without a sealed Amiga version of the Spanish release. Most likely either ERBE didn't create two different boxes for the 8-bit and 16-bit releases or they did pack the extra game for the 16-bit versions. A completely 'Frankensteined' version (that somebody just threw two Amiga games from the 16-bit version in the 8-bit box) is possible too of course, but way less likely. We'll keep the box, but I've removed the note about the Spanish Amiga release coming with LED Storm included.

I remember that someone (dlfrsilver?) ask about the Retail Disk Version of 1943 from US Gold.
It is possible that this game never had a retail Version.?
On the Box of the GIANTS Compilation stands "previously unreleased".
I also just have a original Disk of 1943 with the GIANTS printed Label.

It is possible that the game wasn't released as 'retail' in 1989. There are reviews for the Amiga version in 1989, but that doesn't mean it was released.

1943 was released on Amiga as retail version, but it's very rare, you'd have more luck finding the kixx 1943, or the version sold in the Giants compilation.
