Maybe Sweden will win the FWC with anti-Football the way that Portugal did in Euro 2016? Sigh

Nah, England will knock them out, then, probably, lose to Croatia.

If you have Geoff Hurst handy at the final: YES!
BBC-Footage of the final match against Germany and the controversal goal at World Cup final 1966:

Many say it is proven that it wasn't a goal.
Others display nice computer-created situations where the ball is behind the line:

Sure, you love the computer-animated video.
I've seen several computer-animated videos that give the following proven facts:
- The german V2 rocket landed on moon back in 1944
- Elvis Presley did a concert with the complete Beatles-Linup back in 2017, located in Kathmandu/Nepal
- Donald Trump is actually a mutated cockroach

Well, as time passes by...
Let's say: It is written that England had won the Championship 1966.
That's a fact!

Cheers,
Rick

I wonder how France and England would play without immigration.

2 vs 11, 4/5 vs 11.

Just kidding.

Belgium is hyped too much. I'd like England to win. They should have a chance against Croatia because Croatia had to go on overtime.

God awful match in the second half. Boring. And i can't see this dumb idiot Mbappe anymore, despite his football skills.

Belgium is still in the race for third place.
2016 (Edit: in the final) France lost all tension like they have already won, already hired the blue party bus and so on. I think they've learned this time.

Match was a typical 1:0 after a standard situation like so many in this FWC. And then just defend and stop playing Soccer. The game is easier without the ball.

Should be a good Final, France v England or Croatia will be a very open game. France are not great, neither are the other two, I obviosuly fancy Englands chances, but win, lose or draw they have exceeded expectations, so it will be positive no matter what.

Having said that if they don't win I will be gutted for a couple of days.

England can be proud, clearly the better and more talented team, but Croatia's experience won through in the end, England were a bit naive all round, including the manager.

Still 3/4 is a good result for this young team, and with England dominating competitions at the youth levels (under 21 etc.) the future does look bright.

But plenty to be learnt for sure.
