Staf, can you try again? I made some fixes yesterday so it should work. If it still doesn't, can you show me a screenshot.

Just wondering - how well, if at all, is Icaros tested with Wanderer configured as the desktop rather than Magellan?
Kind of left a bit bemused at this point. I have to admit, 2.2.2 seems more stable than when I tried 2.2.1 a few weeks back, but that might be just that I've not tried running much yet. |

Same here.
So, do simple things like clicking the 'Host' link on the 'Desktop' crash your system? I guess maybe you are not running hosted! |

So I assume the maintainer of Icaros (Paulaone?) also runs native and not hosted which begs the question, does the person maintaining it even know about these issues? Stuff like this is going to seriously put off the casual "tyre kicker" (which just in case that doesn't translate well means someone that is just turning up to try it out but is not necessarily serious about committing)
Personally I am still intending to go full self-compiled and hopefully native Aros when I get the chance but life is keeping me busy at the moment. |

OK, so, we established the maintainer is called Paul.
Does he realise just how broken Icaros can be when running hosted on Linux as a first impression for people that are just looking to dip their toes in the water of Aros as a NG Amiga? (And yes, I'm aware that at one point he responded in this thread). It's perfectly possible that this is not the thread or even the forum to post this, but there aren't enough hours in the day to join up to EAB and also separate forums / communities for Aros, Icaros, Morphos and AOS4 ! |

A few of questions on Icaros
1) Does it support PC FDD? And if yes, is there a trick/guide for getting it working? 2) Any guides for setting up networking as mine isn't seeing my network 3) What Emulator can be installed on ICAROS for games? I LOVE how slim and fast ICAROS is, and I've just got it sitting on an old beige P4 (or is it an i3?) tower with 2GB ram. But I dont really know what to "do" with it yet lol |

Yawn... What's the point of running this when there's fuck all software for it? What are you going to do with it?
