NOTE: You can't use DMS files with names longer than 18 characters!
Hi,
I just wanted to tell everybody that DMS files with more than 18 characters aren't possible to use in WinUAE. That's not a bug, but a limitation. I tell you in order to prevent "bug reports" that DMS files aren't working properly in WinUAE.  You just have to RENAME the file to something equal or less than 18 characters in total, and you don't have problems. Example: Fantasy Manager-1.DMS is NOT possible because: 7 + 1 (space) + 9 + 4 (dot + dms) = 21 characters! Rename it to FantasyMgr-1.dms and it works fine! FYI. |

Many thanks for the info. I was wondering why I couldn't use most of my DMS files. I hadn't submitted it though
