Ok I tried this one "King Permon XXVII. was removed forcibly from power and imprisoned. A despotism of traitors begun.".
I broke it down into these 5 lines: King Permon XXVII.The 4th line is the widest so started with that to see if possible; I had to reduce the spacing between words though to get it to fit though. Shall I continue clenched? |

Anyway, here's "3. King Permon XXVII. was removed forcibly from power and imprisoned. A despotism of traitors begun." finished: Hopefully you can use what I've done? |

"5. Brave plan failed and all the rebels were killed"
"6. Except one..." I guess that will do for now until I know clenched can actually use them... |

#3 won't work. Begun is right where the pink area is which I also asked to remain pink.
Text must stay within the white boundary. Your first picture worked fine. |

It was difficult enough getting the text into the correct number of lines... Where the "pink" is, can you not this reduce by code? If not then I guess I'll have to give up / abort then; I can't do the impossible. |

How about you give me a template for each of the following showing exactly where the pink parts are: =========================================================================== I'll continue making up all screens for now. Once I get the above then I can play around with reducing the text size for everything in order to fit in the pink for all screens. Luckily everything I've done is in layers in Photoshop so |

Wow, just tried it... looks amazing, well done clenched!!!
With the 3rd screen the spacing between words in the lines "removed forcibly from" and "power and imprisoned." isn't constant. With the 4th screen the line "attempted to set" probably needs to be lowered by 1 or 2 pixels. Anyway... so I get that the spacing in some lines had to be shorter in order to fit. Shall I try reducing the text size and also using the same word / line format as above? Last edited by DamienD; 03 October 2020 at 22:02. Reason: Fixed spelling mistakes... |

Good work guys. I do not personally know the author who lived close to me, but he would be surprised his game still lives and is being translated.

Outro done. Can be viewed with savestate by copying to disk 1. Keep walking toward cells to finish level 30.

Damn it... I also noticed with the following that there were line spacing issues; and previously I cropped a little of the 1st line first word's "U" and the last word's "S" in order to fit.
There was also a "." after Permon XXVII missing, as in all other cases. 2. Under protection of his most loyal fighter, Permon XXVII got lost in the deeps of Permonie. All fixed: Last edited by DamienD; 04 October 2020 at 18:11. |

I copied the file to Disk 1 and tried loading the Save State. As soon as I walk left the screen just goes black and doesn't load. Do you think you could take screenshots and post in thread? |

Try starting with disk 3 attached at first. It has yet to load score table before asking for disk 1.
