Voodoo 3 with Mediator 1200tx problem

I'm trying to install voodoo 3 3000 on my amiga 1200 tower. After installing the picasso96 driver and rebooting, it's just black screen and the floppy drive stops clicking. I'm using the latest files for mediator from elbox site and picasso96 2.1b. Before i install the picasso driver, pciinfo recognises the voodoo card.

Some initial questions:

- Which kickstart/OS are you using?
- Do you have an accelerator card?
- Do you have any other PCI cards installed?

So Bromigo!

First things first.

Elbox MMCD 2 installed?

Config jumper set correctly on mediator to accelerator being used?

MMCD 2.6 update applied?

PCI.library version 13.10 in use?

Have you ran and configured using “Medconfig” ?

No other monitor files in Devs:monitors

Picasso96 installed with Cyberstorm 64/3D and monitor name changed to voodoo and icon information changed to voodoo as per Elbox instructions?

What I tend to do before installing MMCD drivers is install Picasso 96 first as the Elbox voodoo driver gets placed in the Picasso96 folder per the installation script.

I'm using workbench 3.1 with kickstart 40.068.
I have Blizzard 1230IV and no other pci cards.

I tried installing picasso96 first and what do you know, it works!
I guess the problem remaining now is that it still shows only 2mb of graphics memory instead of the voodoos 16mb.

Good to know

The graphics mem in workbench will only show the 2MB of RAM on the Amiga Mainboard. RTG RAM from the voodoo is 16MB.
