I don't have it yet, but I just ordered a Furia accelerator, and OS 3.1.4 to go in my A600. At some point I'd like to get the A604n and an Indivision ECS, but that will have to wait until I have more pennies!

I just picked up a new motherboard for the SE/30, since the memory controller in the old one is completely hosed.

I have a NES mini clone = 500 in 1 = much better
That's a poor AV interface. Cheap components. I wonder whether a similar fix to this would work:

For the price this is excellent! A small mod will bring this back to life. BTW what resolution is the screen used (?could he replacement for RPi!?). The picture on the video looks pixel perfect in comparison to original NES so this must be outputting 240p or even lower!

Got an AV mod for my 2600 - different most as doesn't require drilling the case for connections, the lead just connects internally and runs out the hole in the case for the original lead. All very neat and non-destructive.

After a few hairy hours of dodgy soldering and it not working, I discovered that the old TV I was using to test it wasn't taking a composite signal in from he side connectors!!! All working well now and had a game of Combat v Little Hav on the 40" 4k TV - wasn't quite 4k but picture was better and brighter.

Now awaiting an UnoCart.

P.S. If you haven't seen what is happening on the 2600 scene then you should look - it's got to be one of the most versatile systems ever.

YAT - Yet Another Trinitron. Delivered by seller (plus a Syncmaster 17" VGA monitor), for about 20 pounds.

It's in a very good nick, and the display has no major imperfections found often in CRTs these days (bad geometry, convergence, etc). And, most importantly, it doesn't seem to have the super annoying pixel-jitter flaw found on some Trinitron models.

So, seeing as I have 5 of them now , I think it's time to stop hoarding Three of them are in a very good shape, so should last me another decade, hopefully more. And by then I suppose OLED (or some new TV tech) + shaders will get to the point where they are viable replacement.

Yeah. I live in Poland atm and here Trinitrons don't have any special markup. The seller was actually asking ~10 pounds, but I paid him extra for delivery and that VGA monitor.

Now, if you look at Trinitron prices on UK ebay....

The Mouse I mentioned on the 25th arrived:

It has those strange melt notches in it,
supposedly caused by cable wrap ?

It was cheap (£4), but described as
"New, unused in box, so in very good condition"

Yeah, that is one very 'inaccurate' description.. And yes, those marks are definitely caused by it being stored with the cable wrapped around it. Over time, the plasticizers leak from the cable and make the plastic in the mouse shell go soft. Ever wondered why some cables that have been stored for very long seem greasy? Some plasticizers have been proven to be quite harmful so be sure to wash your hands after touching old cables.

Haha...

Just like my keyboard and mouse set. So unused that it has glue residue and fluff inside on the keyboard and also scratches galore! "unused"?...yeah right(!)

Male to male ide connector!

Not very exciting but wanted to get one for ages as currently my cd-rom is wired direct from inside the cd-rom case to inside of the Amiga (buffered ide) via the removed modulator socket. This means the whole thing has to be moved as one.

With this connector and another ide cable I can keep the ide coming out of the Amiga but plug it into a shorter connector coming out of the cd case so the two can be easily separated.
