Who can convert IPF to ADF? Zoom! 1988 US version

Hi,

who is able to convert this IPF into ADF and upload it into the zone?

Zoom! 1988 US version
http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=2924
IPF: Link removed - Graham

It looks like it's a common disk and not protected in any way...

Thanks,
1988

Okay removed from the Zone...

But why is a cracked ADF allowed in the Z and an IPF not?

I don't see there any difference...

Original Zoom! is copy protected, it can't be converted to standard adf.

EDIT: Ignore, perhaps I should read all previous replies first

Perhaps extended adf works, perhaps not. Depends on type of protection.

tsgui does not fit the job

Looks like it's the only game of the world which is *NOT* cracked (yet) :-)

Sad... because the us version is much nicer than the eu version :-/

Your uploaded version of Zoom is the EU-version!!
Special US-version is not known until now.
The TOSEC disks are probably beta-versions.

No! I've uploaded the IPF which is NOT an EU version. All other ADF files available are the EU version.

US (blue background, better gfx):

EU (black background, poor gfx):

Zoom version can be recognizes by music too. USA version has different music than European, due European music is cover of good known song and can't be distributed in uSA without permission.

Zoom use a copy protected that ADF extended format doesn't support. I have tried to make one extended ADF but the copy protection fails.

It's the UK version, but it might have been simply a US import sold with an UK sticker in the shops... would not be a huge surprise.

The "black background" version is called "Zoom" and it is "(c) Discovery".

The "blue background" version is called "Zoom!" and it is "(c) Discovery International".

Only for the first version cracks exist... why not for the other one? Because it's the US version and not widespread in the world.

It's getting strange

http://www.mobygames.com/game/zoom/c...CoverId,80001/

Countries : United States and Canada

The US version with the "!" in the title shows the "wrong" screenshots on the cover:

Could cracks be preliminary versions?

I, too, can confirm this .
Some time ago I imaged an original floppy of Zoom!, using Powercopy Pro (it creates a single file for each read track).
- When I wrote back the image to a fresh floppy, it run well on my physical A600
- When I created an extended adf from the image, it didn't run in WinUAE (the game freezes when it checks the protection).

Powercopy pro can physically copy the protection. However writing in an extended ADF makes it looses protection information.
