Amiga software worth paying for?

Hey guys, I'm curious what current commercially available Amiga software is worth paying for, in your opinion. I do have a personal request that we refrain from derailing this with philosophical discussions about commercial Amiga software and just stick to a list. Thanks!

My list:

Workbench 3.1
Workbench 3.9
Workbench 4.1 FE
// the above three, obviously!

WHDLoad - even though it's free and non-crippled, I support the development
Roadshow - best dhcp network stack. I do wish the installer included more .device files for easier installation
HSMathLibs - really makes my 060 worthwhile
CGX4 - Better than P96 with certain setups
CygnusEd Pro - Best amiga text editor!
WarpDT

What else is worthwhile in your opinion?

Hollywood

Paying for libpng libjpeg etc repackaged as Amiga libs, yeah only amiga makes it possible.

for me, whdload is the number 1 software that was worth buying, absolutely.

runner up is the polish game Tank Furry.

Why would you post cartoons depicting sexual acts, in response to a question about Amiga software...

Anyway, I think all the recent games are worth buying. Solid Gold, Tales of Gorluth 1 & 2, Tanks Furry, and others. WHDLoad in particular has also been one of the best softwares to buy for many years, and now it's even free to download.

WHDLoad is totally worth registering, but I wouldn't say that the unregistered version is uncrippled. A 30 second wait screen and a number of installs which just won't work unless you're using the registered version does not sound uncrippled to me.

I can tell you one piece of software which is NOT worth buying. DigiBooster 2! I recently paid for this piece of software and I cannot recommend it.

Can someone tell me how to access DigiBooster's 303 emu feature? The documentation's all in goddamn German! But even with that feature and others such as realtime DSP effects I would have a hard time recommending DigiBooster over OctaMED SoundStudio. Besides, do you really need to apply echo and reverb to your samples in realtime? If you are always playing a sample with the same effect settings, then surely simply applying the effect to the sample should give acceptable results.

PageStream is good, but it seems the developer disappeared so i wouldn't spend any money it.

On the right side there is a small list with "Vol Env, Pan Env, TB303 Emu". Click on TB303 Emu to open its window. Now you can do/render 303 samples or pattern. I would recommend 303Tracker instead. There should be docs (docs drawer) in english and german (guide and FAQ) for V2.19. Digibooster 2.x ist more like Protracker then Octamed SoundStudio. If you are used to Octamed then it is a changeover. For me it is the opposite, I can use PT and DBP but Octamed is to complicated for me.

DSP echo, of course you are free to use it or not but you are not fixed to the same effect setting. There exists (pattern) commands to change settings on the time. You cannot have different settings for each track. This is pity but 68k would be to slow for that.

Yep, +1 for WHDLoad, Roadshow and Tales Of Gorluth 2.

I'm happy to pay for any software that I use regularly, so long as the money funds ongoing development. Nice to see some devs still actively supporting the Miggy.

all software mentioned deserves to be bought, no doubt, I'd just add ztools and enhancer pack for OS4. and MorphOS

Enhancer Pack reminds me of the Windows 95 Plus pack. Filled with things you could get from a PD library.

not really, if only for the continued support on tunenet and partition wizard, at least for me, it's worth it. The lite version as I don't need the HD drivers on my peg2 and classic, but nonetheless.
