The whole game is 8 bit Paletized anyway, so what do you expect to gain from running in 24bits?

I ran into this yesterday, tried to play it in 1280x1024@8bit and it was a tiny square in the corner. Other games do this too, so I'm thinking it's a library issue.

Yes, the is a 24 bit patch and a 640x480 patch (gfx card) but i can't mix the two 24 bits 640x480, the result isn't spectacular in 24 bits or in 640x480 but it's working but not together it seems.

I agree with Locutus about this. A High Res version of the game would be fantastic past 640x480, but the game would have to be redone, or "remastered". It's 8-bit depth. Which is fast for graphics boards for fast action. 24-bit would not offer any improvements unless you change the game sources. It's a quick FPS..not Nightlong which benefits from 15/16-bit and is a Point-N-Click adventure. I don't see any sense is "hacking" an 8-bit depth game into 16 just to make the screen larger at 1920x1080 or so. Now you're stretching a whole lot more than it was ever intended for back in the day. That won't look pretty, haha!

If you got a hold of the master files, and modified those and "remastered it"...then I could understand. 640x480 is pretty good for High Res for Amiga, even with a PPC...and WinUAE.
