Broken keyboard clip
This is my first post, so sorry if it's in the wrong section!
I finally got round to restoring my Amiga 1200. Unfortunately, when I was removing the key caps I accidentally broke one of the two little plastic retaining clips under the space bar. It's the clip that holds the metal stabilising bar/wire to the base of the keyboard. The tiny piece of black plastic that I broke... well I didn't manage to find it, otherwise I'd have tried gluing it back on. The space bar works (in a fashion), but now has an annoying rattling sound and if I press it too far to one side, the opposite end jams upwards. Other than that, the keyboard is fine. I was just wondering about the best way to fix this... Maybe someone has also had this problem and found a solution? Thanks. Last edited by coolname; 06 August 2018 at 21:24.
