Oldskool mods

I'm looking for a few very old modules...

In the early days of my life i had an amiga 500,(still have, though it's not the same one)
I had some modules, played on Sound/Protracker ..not sure

these are the titles i can remember,,

Pump up the....(volume?) dance dance
Koud he (dutch remix)

Maybe it's one remix

And all other mods in the same year or so are very welcome!

Regards

Hi sjakie43,

good to see another mod fan around here
I got some links for you, I hope your first songs is within this :

http://www.df.lth.se/~fernbom/music/mods/files/housemyx.zip
http://cd.textfiles.com/smsharew/MUSIC/PUMPUPJ.ZIP

I could not find 'Koud he' in mod form, but if I stumble upon it I'll let you know

Hey sjakie,

I don't have the songs, but it kinda reminds me to the
'ernie en berts' - 'ga je douchen' rmx! (also a mod file)
that was hilarious, a friend of mine used it in a performance at school when he was going to voortgezet onderwijs
jes my english sucks een klein beetje.

oldskool mods

Thanx for replying guyz

@Cyberdruid>thanks for the links!

Unfortunate they we're not the ones
But i like them, like the old hiphouse era.
In the begin years of the Amiga 500 there were
a lot of these very nice house(hiphouse)remixes(turn up the bass etc).

@Cosmiq>geen probleem,ik begryp wat je bedoel.

We keep on searching...

Hehe, I remember that tune (the true audio one that is).

It sampled heavily from Eric B & Rakim tunes (funny, it takes samples from original & remixed versions of Paid In Full, plus another song or two as well...plus they sampled stuff to make them in the first place too ).

Sorry I can't help with the Mod file you want, just had to mention the memories.

PZ.

Maybe one of the links in this will get you headed in the right direction?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MARRS

Sometimes Wikipedia links are useful like that

PZ.

*EDIT* - I just read that wiki and it’s far from accurate on a few points…still check the links…

Thanks Fingerlickin!

With your help I think I found the correct one :
http://amp.dascene.net/downmod.php?index=91201
It's in MED format, but you can change it to MOD quite easily.

Okay, so the search goes on
Do you have any information about the group/artist that released the song on the Amiga?

btw : Is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B87snXgV7Pg the song you're looking for?

Nice Groove! Thanx!

Always welcome mate.

The oldskool heads also might enjoy Solid Steel Podcast 69, a recording of Coldcut & The Orb on Kiss FM from 1988, it's some serious boom chicky boom style....
