how to find out how much space i have left on my hard drive
is there a disk I can use to see how much space I have left on my a600 hd
it may seem dum but I never had a a600 before dopus I use 0n my a1200 |

Even the KS1.3 Workbench disk contains all you need.
The shell command infowill give you the amount of occupied and free space for any mounted device. Refer to http://wiki.amigaos.net/wiki/AmigaOS...Reference#INFO for details. I have a vague feeling that many AmigaDos commands are referenced in the original manuals so if you still have them you might want to give them at least a cursory reading. There's lot of useful stuff there. |

If you have problems with large sizes that the info command can`t handle I can recommend the info replacement (needs OS2.x or higher) by Stephan Rupprecht from Aminet. It has 64bit math-functions, local support and some more nice features. http://aminet.net/package/util/sys/info
