AVIOutput problem

I know video output will be down the priority list for development and fixes, but I thought I'd add a request here in the event there might be scope for looking at the issue for 4.10.1

There seems to have been some kind of change to the AVI output and save state functionality after WinUAE 4.4.0 which causes black frame insertion and distorted audio when using AVI output and resuming from a save state. I don't know exactly which version manifested in, but it's an issue in 4.9.1 and 4.10.

There were problems with the AVI output that were kindly addressed by Toni back in 2017 - not sure if the issues are related (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ght=AVI&page=6).

[moved from beta thread, not 4.10 specific]

Could you find out which version? (and which beta, beta links should be still valid) introduced this?

I've just tested a large chunk of the previous beta releases - the problem occurred with WinUAE 4.9 Beta 22: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=684

Version from the WinUAE app: Public Beta 22 2021.06.13

The issue wasn't present in 4.9 beta 21.

Confirmed. Chipset updates broke it again (as it always does..)

First frame is blank, then correct, then weird corrupted frame, following frames are correct. First frame is easy fix (saved before first frame is completed) but third frame is strange, more debugging needed..

Does https://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.7z fix it?
(Note that capture after filtering still includes multiple blank frames. This is not fixed)

It looks like the issue is partially fixed.

When loading a save state and recording, the black frame and missing audio is fixed.

However, loading the same save state a second time and recording produces a black frame. The audio is present and sounds to be correct though.

This should be fixed now.
