Games you never understood to play (the right way)
Yeah, as the thread title says.
As an example, i played Vamires Empire (http://hol.abime.net/1556) always the wrong way. Mirrors? Light? Huh? I was just wandering around, avoiding enemies without any clue about playing it the proper way. Another one is Balance of Power (http://hol.abime.net/18). Cool, politics, cool economy. War! War! Decisions? Yes, Decisions! Uh, wrong decision? Game over. |

Captain Blood seriously i'm 13 playing this late into the nights landing on all these strange planets talking to aliens with this indecipherable hieroglyphic interface and they talk back in that.
So i just went around nuking planets. when i got sick of the pretty colours of "destroy planet activated" i just loaded the game to listen to J. Michel Jarre's title track. armour-geddon loved the game the gfx mood theme everything. wtf do you do? i still dont know maybe i should give it another try. i agree with mega lo mania i worked out populous and powermonger this game stumped me so i rage quit. Liberation the sequel to Captive it completely lost me. |

I completed it as well, exploted a bit of a bug in i think the final level so instead of battling my way through all the bad guys just shot the bloke from miles away when he stood next to the wall.

There's a rumour going round that some people actually know the purpose of "Weird Dreams"...
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "Dungeon's Lair" (etc.) : 15' loading, then 10" game... Last edited by snarkhunter; 28 April 2010 at 16:14. |
