KTs PD SOFTWARE

Hey all

I have about 130+ disk's of KT's PD SOFTWARE. I don't know if there is a source anywhere to download these, or if people wanted me to make adf's? I say 130+ because after 130 I kinda lost count somehow no more then 140 though. General PD rubbish really, does have some good stuff. No one really seems to know much about KT's PD.

Cheers

Hi Jimbo,

would be cool if you could ADF them Afterwards we can put them on the EAB file server, so everybody interested can grab them

Btw : I think this should go into 'Amiga scene'

I have not heard of them before either, but it's always great to see more old disks being preserved. Thanks, Jimbo!

Address : ftp://eab.whdownload.com

Under my user, I just named them as they were on disk.

Cheers

EDIT: Is there a special way to name them?

Cheers Jimbo
Moved them to the file server (the upload FTP should normally not be used for download you see ) in the folder 'PD Series/KTs PD Software'. Also did some minor adjustment on the file names. Check if that looks okay for you

Info on KT's PD

They were a PD library based in the UK that operated via mail order. The PD library was run by a couple of ladies if I recall. I remember placing an order with them and browsing through their catalogue disk many moons back...

Hmm... Run by a couple of ladies, eh? I wonder if "KT's" is a euphemism for "Katie's" ?

KT... like Katie the Robot in "Roberts Robots"... anyone remember this show... see attached image... it was a great little TV show from the same guy who did Rentaghost... mind you, you would have to be pretty ancient to have seen it - it was 1973!

Sorry to go OT - thanks for the uploads Jimbo!

Few more on the server ready to be whacked over sir. Going to take me ages doing all these. Some of the disks have about 3-4 games written on the actual disk. What I have done here is named them game.adf/games2.adf, but I am making a txt file with Final Write on the Amiga which explains whats on the games disks. It will just grow bigger with each upload. Couldnt think of another way of doing it. The file is just called games and has the names of the adf's done so far.

Cheers

Thumbs up

Hey nice one Jimbo, I've never found anything metioned about KT's before. I used them for all my Amiga PD disks up until the mid '90s. I don't think I got anything rare from them - but their catalogue disks were nicely presented.

Hey man

Nah I don't think there is anything rare which is a shame really. But I will finish the upload when I get my new CF card.
