WinUAE keyboard lag
Hi everyone. Just grabbed the new WinUAE 0.8.27. Excellent work Toni. AB3D2 is working again! However, a problem that I first discovered in 0.8.25 is still alive. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong... In AB3D2, I have JIT on, of course. If I have sound emulated, I get weird lag when moving around. It might take a second for my input to kick in, or once it is recognised, the same command (eg. move forward) will be repeated for a second or more, after I let go of the key. The only way I can avoid this problem is if I have sound totally unemulated. Really really strange. I'm running on a laptop. But this shouldn't matter coz this problem has only happened in recent versions... Is there a text file I can dump which might help track this down? Thanks again for your awesome efforts Toni. |

I'd lower the priority of winuae on control panel and check again. This is far too usual in emulators

You can change the task priority from within winuae.
