last version of Ibrowse that ran on 68000
Which version would be the last one to support this cpu?

The last version of IBrowse for 68000 was v1.22. And there was a fix for it on Aminet.
It was faster than Aweb, but Aweb is more complete (if one can say that about Amiga browsers). BTW, Aweb requires ClassAct and IBrowse requires MUI. |

for the 68000 also you can use Amosaic, it consumes less memory and is very fast
