Exclamation A Problem with Menace in Winfellow alpha v.0.4.4 built 2

Hi!
Yesterday I Downladed three Menace adf files from Planetemu, the files are:

Menace (1988)(Psyclapse)[cr Ackerlight][t +3 Ackerlight].adf
Menace (1988)(Psyclapse)[cr Ackerlight][t +3 Ackerlight][a].adf
Menace (1988)(Psyclapse)[cr Ackerlight][t +3 Ackerlight][a2].adf

All of them have the same trainer from Ackerlight with unlimited weapons,
lives and the start stage option. The three files works fine, the graphics are
correct, the sound and the controls too, no problem in this way.

The bad thing is if I don´t choose unlimited lives the energy shield gauge starts to drop
to zero, no matter if the enemy ships touch me or not, or I touch the ground/floor,
the energy begins to fall and less than a minute after I explode. If I touch the sorroundings or the Draconia ships the level meter don´t drops more quickly, it seams that I am invulnerable but nothing can stops this descend of the gauge. And when I destroy one wave of ships only appears to me a 1000 points bonus, not the weapons that the manual says.
And I if choose in the trainer unlimited lives the energy meter don´t moves, but playing in that way I don´t like it.
Is a Winfellow´s problem or this game is bad cracked? Someome plays it well?

Thanks for the replies in advance.

Yep, WinUAE is much better and is still actively developed. It can be a bit bewildering at first but that's only because there's so many options. You could also download a frontend like GameBase Amiga for WinUAE and make your life a lot easier.

Ok. Thanks for the replies. Nobody knows the reason because Menace don´t work in Winfellow, well...
Now I have more than 250 Amiga games. I put in every game folder a txt file with manuals, solutions, cheats, hints and a Winfellow config to play every game, that is the reason because I am asking this matter.
I use Winfellow because is more easy than WinUAE, but it seems that everybody use WinUAE here. It seems to be a good option, if not the best, because I saw that Lionheart, Fire and Ice, Brian the Lion and other games works fine in WinUAE and in Winfellow the main sprites are partly invisibles and that is a pity.

I didn´t Know that in WinUAE there are frontends, it is a good idea! I use a frontend with Dos-Box, D-Fend.

Well, I am a bit afraid to use WinUAE but one day I must give to it one oportunity.
Thanks!

I like WinFellow for basic emulation. It's really fast compared to WinUAE.

And i'm agree, answer above were a bit unuseful

WinFellow has many problems with certain games, if it's a bug in the emulator then we can't exactly give out other advice.

And regarding the problem with the powerups -

If I remember right, you get the 1,000 bonus for destroying a complete wave, and then you have to shoot it.. hit it a few times and it starts to cycle through the different powerups (speed increase, extra shot power, shield, etc).

I haven't played the game for about 10 years but I'm pretty confident that is the way it works.

If the collision is buggy in winfellow then you probably can't even shoot the powerups.

I also got some problems of transparent main sprite in Ruff'n'Tumble. I think i solve the problem using a previous version of WinFellow.
