PCMCIA to USB adapter
I saw that on the market PCMCIA type II to (2x) USB adapters are available, sometimes with powersupply added.
I would like to use it for reading/writing USB pen-drive on Amiga. Does anyone know it these devices could work on A1200? Are drivers available on Aminet? |

Quick, show that page to someone who's still making Amiga hardware.. ;-)
Then again, there's only one PCMCIA slot in the Amigas that have them.. |

Couple that with right angle connectors for Towers and you are talking stoopid money. I here that there is another run of Subways anyhow.

Not many machines are pcmcia only these days.. :-) Cardbus became popular something like 8 years ago.

On the PC side, you can use the PCMCIA adapter again if your machine is a laptop, or there are cheaply available USB flash card readers for desktop machines. The compactflash card is recognised by windows without the need for any additional drivers. |
