PCMCIA to USB adapter

I saw that on the market PCMCIA type II to (2x) USB adapters are available, sometimes with powersupply added.
I would like to use it for reading/writing USB pen-drive on Amiga.
Does anyone know it these devices could work on A1200? Are drivers
available on Aminet?

You show us a non-cardbus PCMCIA to USB adapter.

Quick, show that page to someone who's still making Amiga hardware.. ;-)

Then again, there's only one PCMCIA slot in the Amigas that have them..

Couple that with right angle connectors for Towers and you are talking stoopid money. I here that there is another run of Subways anyhow.

Not many machines are pcmcia only these days.. :-) Cardbus became popular something like 8 years ago.

An alternative to using a pen drive is to use a compactflash card with pcmcia adapter. CompactFlash cards are inexpensive, around £11 for 128MB. The pcmcia adapters are available cheaply (under £10) and there are drivers freely avaiable on aminet (CFD and FAT95) for this set up.

On the PC side, you can use the PCMCIA adapter again if your machine is a laptop, or there are cheaply available USB flash card readers for desktop machines. The compactflash card is recognised by windows without the need for any additional drivers.

It's what I'll do.

And thanks everyone for your quick answers.
