Gary Knight's AmiDock
Hi! I'm looking for the latest versions of Gary Knight's AmiDock.
Fish disks and Aminet give the 1.3 version, but as a registered user I received the 1.4.5 -- if I remember correctly -- on a disk sent to me by Gary. My disk is long lost though and I would like to find the very latest version of this tool. BTW does anybody know Gary? can he still be contacted? I would love to ask for the sources if ever they're preserved. |

of not much help, but i only can find version 1.45 mentioned in an index file, of a _lost_ iso image: CD02: P1709 AMIDOCK V1.45.DMS
"AGA Utilities CD v2.0" - this is cd03 - cd01 and cd02 missing on the ftp. 150gb of data and this tool just appears once in an index file of a lost iso. things are strange sometimes :/ #1) about Gary Knight - mentioned on the Pagestream product description on amigafuture.de. pagestream.org is still alive. maybe they are still working on that software. you can try the contact us page - maybe u can get some info about gary that way. Yes I've wrote to Pagestream (Soft Logic?) support mail address indeed, as suggested by emufan... waiting and hoping for an answer now ;-)

in the early days they had their home at www.softlogik.com.
later if was grasshopperllc.com now pagestream.org (.net) good luck with your request, report back how it's going

Deron kindly answered, saying that Gary was great guy but he left SoftLogik 18 years ago and Deron never heard from him after...
:-/ I'll have to try other ways to track him down. Anybody here is in St Louis and does it sound realistic to look for him in such a town? |
